Given some of the on-going challenges of securing a qualified workforce, more and more Plan Sponsors are turning to foreign nationals market to meet their needs.   Just like expatriates, inpatriates arrive to Canada with only the experience of their own health care system, which typically bears little resemblance to the Canadian system.    In many respects, Canadian bound inpatriates are no different than expatriates. They share the same sense of living in an unfamiliar environment, with new customs and many adjustment issues.  And just like expatriate benefit coverage, it is critical that the benefit arrangement secured for inpatriates is appropriately designed.
